Transplex is acronym of ‘Transport’ and ‘Complex’. Transplex has been founded by highly Professional Team with decades of Industry experience. We are headed by Mr. Partha P. Chaudhury who has 3 decades of Industry experience in Infrastructure, especially Highway, Expressway, Bridges & Structures.
Our mentor, Mr. Amitabha Datta is a well-known name in the industry with nearly 5 decades of engineering experience. He was heading operations of STUP Consultants Eastern India Office and South East Asia. Mr. Datta is a Civil Engineer, but has cross-discipline experience in project handling with specialization in Bridges and Structures.
Our partner M/S Vizoner Infra services has decades of experience in Financial Engineering Debt syndication and divestment in infrastructure projects.
At Transplex we aspire to offer a bouquet of engineering consultancy services, detailed in the pages to follow, focusing primarily on Infrastructure space. We foresee opportunity in the sector with the Government massive push to the infrastructure sector.

Mr. Partha P chaudhury
Our CEO
Mr. Chaudhury is a B.Tech (Civil) Engineer and completed MDP from IIM (Lucknow). He has also completed Diploma in Business Management from IMT (Gaziabad) and PGP in Infrastructure Management from NICMAR (Pune) having 30+ years of experience in various large scale Infrastructure Projects in Highway and Bridges.
He has extensive experience in management of high value Projects besides Project Planning & Cost Analysis, Bid Evaluation, Contract Management, Dispute Resolution, Claims and Supply Chain Management.
He has worked with L&T, Srei Infrastructure and Welspun Enterprise Limited at various senior management positions. During his journey in last 3 decades he has been instrumental in achieving the following for various projects undertaken in PPP/ EPC mode:
- Project and Construction Management of around 2000 lane kms.
- Bid evaluation for projects under infrastructure space valuing more than
INR 1 trillion. - Contracts and Claims management with favorable awards valuing more
than INR 5 billon. - Optimized the Operation and Management of multiple BOT (Toll)
Projects, bringing cost efficiency to the SPVs. - mprovised Project designs resulting value engineering of more than INR
1 billion. - Negotiation and finalization of EPC Contracts worth INR 50 billion.
Mr. Amitabha Datta
Our Mentor
Mr. Dutta is a Graduate Civil Engineer having 47+ years of experience in various civil engineering priority projects that include Railway & Road, Bridges, Highways, Flyovers, Metro Railways (both over and underground), Water Resources, Integrated Urban Infrastructure Development Projects, Airports, Industrial and Sports Complex, Ports and Harbour Structures, Commercial Complex, etc. both in India and abroad.
After starting his career with BBJ Construction Mr. Dutta served with STUP Consultants for a period of 39 years. In STUP he was heading the Eastern Regional Office, developing and executing outcome-oriented engineering and management strategies to enable revenue growth.
With his extensive knowledge of engineering optimization methodologies and quality control, Mr Dutta served as a technical advisor under various government and private consultancy firms. In addition, he strategized new ways to streamline engineering methodologies, optimize project expenditure and implement mentorship programs for new employees.
He has domain expertise in Design, Contract Administration and Project Management Consultancy. For his adept people and operations management skills, he was often hand-picked by the top management to mentor engineering team leaders and managers from other departments.
Mr Dutta has extensive working experience for multiple International Projects funded by ADB, World Bank, JBIC, AIIB, Kuwait Fund, Saudi Fund and EXIM Bank of India and under financial assistance from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India. Beyond the borders of India, he has worked for projects in Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, UAE, Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Lao PDR, Vietnam, Cambodia, & Maldives.
